PAW is a non profit registered charity in Edmonton. We rehabilitate and re-home abandoned, abused, neglected and unwanted animals. We adhere to Force Free Training and are a member of the Alberta Force Free Alliance
We are run by a group of dedicated volunteers who are committed to helping the animals that come into our care. We operate a shelter for abandoned animals, and operate a daycare that along with donations and fundraising ensure that dogs in our care get proper vet treatment, training and rehabilitation. All dogs are up to date on vaccines and are spayed or neutered and micro chipped prior to adoption.
The funds that we raise go toward vet care, training and housing of dogs that are looking for their new fur-ever home. We also provide compassion care to animals whose owners who are in need of assistance as they deal with difficult life circumstances. We rely on our our amazing foster homes to provide longer term care as we search for a suitable forever homes.
Our volunteers are the backbone of PAWS. Without the time, dedication and talents we would not be able to give the many dogs that come into our care a second chance and new fife.

Join the PAWS Team. PAWS is run almost entirely by dedicated volunteers. We are always looking for help with fostering, driving, special events, fundraising. We are espeically in need of people to take on a leadershship role and coordiate our Foster Program, Volunteer Coordination, Medical Coordination, Fundraising Program. and Adoption Coorination.
